For the first time in the programs history, the Penn State Hazleton Baseball Team will head to Florida to attend the 2013 Vero Beach Village Spring Training. The team will pack their bags and travel to Vero Beach, Florida on March 6th and open up their schedule on Thursday, March 7th, against the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponent, University of Mary (North Dakota) at 12:00 PM.

Friday morning, Hazleton will meet up with familiar USCAA foe, Newport News Apprentice School (Virginia) at 9:00 AM. Spring training will conclude on Saturday with a day/night double header beginning at 12:00 PM against NAIA opponent West Virginia Tech (West Virginia) and wrap up with a night game against Northern Iowa Community College, from the NJCAA, at 7:00 PM.
