Mid-Game Collapse Dooms Hazleton, Falls to Valley Forge 16-11
After a strong start Hazleton led the University of Valley Forge 8-3 in the 4th inning. However, their pitching and defense collapsed and allowed the Patriots to score 6 runs in the bottom of the 4th and would later surrender 7 more runs in the remaining innings allowing Valley Forge to take the 16-11 win.

Hazleton Battles, Stauffer shines as Lions Get First Win
Hazleton gave up three unearned runs in the 3rd inning to give Valley Forge a lead, but fought back behind a stellar pitching performance by Colin Stauffer to get their first win of the 2018 season taking the game with a 9-5 win. The game was called after six innings due to darkness.

Errors plagued the Penn State Hazleton Nittany Lions in their double header opener and allowed host Williamson College of the Trades an easy 16-6 win yesterday played on the Williamson campus, in Media, PA.

PSU Hazleton played its best game of the Spring Training trip to the RIpkin Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC in the second game of a double-header, but still fell to PSU Greater Allegheny 6-3 ending the road trip at 0-5.

Hazleton Opens 2018 Campaign, Falls to Kankakee CC in Opener
The Penn State Hazleton Baseball team opened its 2018 campaign tonight and fell to the 2017 National Junior College Athletic Association DII National Champions Kankakee Community College 17-2. The game was played at the Ripkin Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC as both teams are down south for their Spring Training schedule.
