Hazleton, Pa. - Coaches and players around the Penn State University Athletic Conference probably know Hazleton Men's Basketball player Andy Kwiatkowski (Gaithersburg, Md.) as a guy who will fire the rock from anywhere on the court. He's had plenty of success doing it too.

In just over a season and a half, Kwiatkowski has launched 229 triples, converting nearly 43 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc. He propelled the Hazleton squad to the team's second straight playoff berth in 2019 where they nearly upset the eventual USCAA champions in overtime. Despite missing five games this season due to injury, Kwiatkowski has battled his way back to good health and a 21.1 points per game average, the top mark in the PSUAC. The junior has the Lions sitting in fourth place in the PSUAC East with a 7-6 conference record and their sights set on another bid to postseason play.

Kwiatkowski is easy to find around campus. He's either hitting the books or wearing out the nets in the Dr. Thomas M. Caccese Gymnasium. It's takes hundreds upon hundreds of shots to maintain his level of play on a weekly basis but we tracked down the PSUAC's leading scorer for a quick Q&A. Click here to view.
