Colin Johnson set to hit the hardwood in 2021-22
Hazleton, Pa. - Colin "CJ" Johnson of Raleigh, Nc. will make the move to the northeast come the fall of 2021 to join the Penn State Hazleton Nittany Lion men's basketball program.
Johnson was a two sport athlete as a freshman when he lettered in track & field and played three years on the varsity basketball team at the Thales Academy in Rolesville, Nc. Colin captained the squad for two seasons and during his senior year with the Knights, Johnson averaged 16 points and four assists per game which led to a 1st Team All-Conference selection for the point guard. In addition to his high school accolades, Colin is also a member of the Royal Knights AAU team based out of Youngsville, NC.
Colin is excited about joining the Nittany Lions and looking forward to the new environment that will allow him to continue to play the game while getting a world class Penn State education. Colin plans to major in business at the campus and is eager to gain success both on and off the court.
