Wrobleski earns Division II honors
Virginia Beach, Va. - Junior Aaron Wrobleski's (Mountain Top, Pa.) talent was on display all season for fans of the Nittany Lions and on Thursday, Wrobleski was recognized by coaches around the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for his efforts. The junior was a key player in Hazleton's late season push for the post-season and ranked in or around the top 50 in the country in goals, assists and shots during the 2018 season.

In his first season as a Nittany Lion, Wrobleski quickly moved up the ranks to become Hazleton's top offensive threat. The junior excelled in the forward position, using his creativity and ball control skills to produce opportunities for himself and his teammates. Wrobleski led the Lions with seven goals and four assists, ranking 12th in the conference in goals scored and total points. His best effort came on October 10 in a must win game for the Lions against Penn State Scranton. The junior played a role in all three of Hazleton's scores, knocking in a pair of goals and assisting on a third score, keeping Hazleton in the playoff hunt with a 3-1 win over Scranton.
