Hazleton, Pa. - The Nittany Lions lost their third straight contest on Wednesday night with an 11-0 defeat at the hands of Penn State Brandywine. Hazleton struggled to keep possession against the reigning PSUAC champions who in turn, reeled off 54 shots in the match compared to just two shots for the Nittany Lions. Hazleton goalkeeper Bryce Dalpiaz (Liverpool, Pa.) made a number of outstanding saves Wednesday night, but the Brandywine firepower was too much to contain. Of the 54 shots taken by the visitors, Dalpiaz made 25 saves on the night with 17 of those stops coming in the first half.

Brandywine jumped ahead just seven minutes into the game and never looked back. Alex Sydor and Kyle Reuter finished the game as Brandywine's top scorers with three goals and an assist for each player while five other Brandywine players registered goals for the visitors.

Next up: With rain in the forecast for the weekend, the Hazleton vs. Scranton game will be played on Friday night at Penn State Hazleton with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. under the lights.
