Penn State Hazleton vs. Penn State Schuylkill (W 3–1: 25–9, 25–27, 25–19, 25–23; 9/18/2025)
Hazleton opened with a statement 25–9 set and closed out a 3–1 win by taking two of the final three behind consistent side-out play and a 48-kill night. The team hit .191 overall, added 6.0 total blocks, and dug 66 balls to blunt Schuylkill rallies late in sets three and four.
Sydney Mack delivered a match-best 20 kills on .444 with 11 digs, while Claire Riera-Gomez posted 16 kills, 18 digs, and 3 aces to drive momentum. Sophia Del Vacchio orchestrated with 41 assists and 7 digs, and Kaytlin Kelley chipped in timely net defense with 3 block assists to finish strong.

Penn State Hazleton controlled the road sweep with efficient offense and poise at the finish, hitting .261 with 48 kills and closing each set in tight moments. The back line stacked 56 digs to limit second-chance points and keep Mont Alto out of system during key stretches.
Sydney Mack led a balanced attack with 12 kills on .407, and Claire Riera-Gomez powered a match-high 21 kills on .300 with three aces. Milestone tidbit: congratulations to Sydney on eclipsing 1,000 career kills in this win at Mont Alto, a landmark achievement for the senior outside. Sophia Del Vacchio guided the attack with 39 assists, and Kaytlin Kelley was highly efficient at .500 with 9 kills.


Penn State Hazleton vs. Christendom (W 3–1: 22–25, 25–13, 25–20, 25–11; 9/20/2025)
After a close first set, Hazleton flipped the match with a dominant 25–13 second set and pulled away late to win 3–1 behind a .286 hitting mark and 7.0 total blocks. The Lions produced 11 service aces and outscored Christendom 97–69 across the final three frames to seal the result.
Sydney Mack paced the offense with 19 kills on .381, with Claire Riera-Gomez adding 14 kills and 4 aces to stretch the floor. Sophia Del Vacchio distributed 35 assists and a block, while Jacqueline Whitlock anchored the net with 4 solo roofs as the defense tallied 52 digs.
