Hazleton, Pa. - Solomon "Beast" Grant of Williamsport, Pa. is the latest senior to join the Hazleton Nittany Lion baseball program for the 2020-21 season. Grant is a three-year pitcher and utility player at St. John Neumann Regional Academy. There, Solomon earned league honors as a pitcher in the Mid-Penn Conference in 2019 and is eager to help the Lions contend for a championship in the spring of 2021.
Grant is excited to play baseball at the collegiate level and looking forward to getting a world class education from Penn State. Currently, Solomon is an honor roll member at Neumann Regional Academy and intends to major in Supply Chain Management at Penn State Hazleton with the eventual goal of become a manager at a major corporation.
