Hazleton finishes fourth at Susquehanna University Spring Invitational
Hummels Warf, Pa. - Penn State Hazleton golfers participated in Susquehanna University's spring match held on Friday at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club. The Nittany Lions finished in fourth place out of six teams with a cumulative score of 366. Moravian College took home the spring trophy and the individual medalist. As a team, Moravian ended the day at 35 over par, a score of 315, with Tyler Smith shooting a plus three, score of 73. Teammate Jim Maru finished one behind at four over par, 74.
Sophomore Ty Morzilla (Berwick, Pa.) finished in the top spot for Hazleton, scoring a 16 over par 86. Close behind was senior Brandon Haydt (Hobbie, Pa.) with an 87, followed by sophomore Garrett Madison's (Canadensis, Pa.) 95, while freshman Katie Behnert (Montandon, Pa.) rounded out the Hazleton scores with a 98.
