Pasukinis named national player of the week

Hazleton, Pa. - Sophomore forward Ben Pasukinis (Benton, Pa.) was named national soccer player of the week on Tuesday by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. Pasukinis led the Nittany Lions to a pair of wins last week notching nine total points over that span.

The forward scored a pair of goals in Hazleton's 5-4 win over Lackawanna College, including an assist on the game winning score, then followed that performance with a two-score effort in a 4-1 over #13 ranked Penn State York. To date, Pasukinis ranks 6th in the USCAA with 16 goals scored and 5th in total points through 2016 with 42 on the year.
