Manning set to make an impact at Hazleton

Hazleton, Pa. - Madison "Maddie" Manning joins the Nittany Lion women's basketball squad for the 2021-22 season, giving Hazleton another weapon from the perimeter. Madison was a two-year varsity player at Downingtown High School West in Downingtown, Pa. where she captained the team as a shooting guard in her senior season. Maddie continued her play out of season, running with three local AAU teams, the Downingtown Heat, Chester County Storm and the PA Eastern Elite.

Maddie was named to the High Honor in each of her four years in high school and looks to continue that trend with her academics in college. Manning has elected to study psychology and enters her first year on campus as a member of the Penn State Honors Society.
