Lions come out on top at Penn State Scranton
Penn State Hazleton dominated the game against Penn State Scranton, winning with a final score of 61-41 on Saturday, February 3 in Scranton, Pa.
In the first quarter, Penn State Scranton took an early lead with a score of 15-13. However, Penn State Hazleton quickly turned the tide in the second quarter, outscoring their opponents 19-5. This strong performance continued into the third quarter, with Penn State Hazleton scoring 17 points compared to Penn State Scranton's 6. The final quarter saw both teams scoring 15 points each, but it wasn't enough for Penn State Scranton to catch up.
Bry'Yasia Costen and Topaz Williams-Fripp were the top performers for Penn State Hazleton. Costen scored 14 points, making 7 of her 14 field goal attempts.
