Alexis Daly named PSUAC Player of the Week
HAZLETON, Pa. - Penn State Hazleton's junior forward Alexis Daly was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on November 18.
Daly, who has led the Lady Lions to a 5-1 mark to start the season, averaged 25.5 points and 11 rebounds over two games to earn the honors as Hazleton topped Broome CC and Cairn University last week. Daly is this season's first recipient of the PSUAC Player of the Week award for women's basketball. She joins golfer Ty Morzilla, and men's soccer players Steven Principe and Logan Yacowatz as PSUAC Player of the Week honorees for Penn State Hazleton this year.
Daly is averaging 20.8 points and nearly 10 rebounds per game to lead Hazleton. She is a two-time United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American and a two-time PSUAC All-Conference selection.
