Prutsman Notches 1,000th Career Point
Junior point guard MxKenzie Prutsman scored her 1,000th career point for Penn State Hazleton on Sunday during the game against Berkeley College (NY).
Penn State Hazleton junor point guard McKenzie Prutsman drove the lane for the second time in 20 seconds in the opening minutes of the game Sunday against Berekeley College. The result was the same as the previous drive, with the ball kissing the glass and dropping through the bottom of the net. Only this time instead of racing back to drop into her defensive spot on the floor, a huge smile overtook her face and the horn sounded to stop the game. Prutsman had just scored the 1,000th point of her collegiate career at Penn State. A junior from Jasper, NY Prutsman is the second fastet player in school history to reach the 1,000 the plateau and is the 6th Lady Lion in program history to hit the career 1,000 mark. A Rehabilitation and Human Services major, McKenzie is the daughter of Tonia and Eric Prutsman.
