Conner Soo ready to hit the court in 2020-21
Hazleton, Pa. – Nittany Lion Men's Basketball welcomes Conner Soo of Mill Hall, Pa. to the roster for the 2020-21 basketball season. Conner attended Central Mountain High School where he became a member of the National Honor Roll Society and played both football and basketball.
On the court, Soo spent three years on the varsity squad, two years in the starting lineup and captained the Wildcats for the 2019-20 season. During that stretch, Soo became a two-time All-Star in the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference, earning second-team honors during his senior campaign where the versatile guard averaged 13 points per game with 27 triples. In addition to his time at Central Mountain High, Soo also participates in the American Athletic Union with the Next Level Strong basketball program out of Lewisburg, Pa.
Conner is the son of Chris and Selena Soo and plans to study Psychology in the fall at Penn State Hazleton where he plans to work hard on and off the court. "Penn State Hazleton is a great campus with a terrific team and coaching staff," stated Soo. "Hazleton is a great fit for me where I feel I'll be able to achieve my two biggest goals, high grades and winning."
