Schatz, Watts, and Whitenight sign on to play men's soccer in fall of 2016
Hazleton, Pa. - Nittany Lion soccer is excited to announce three new additions to the Penn State Hazleton soccer men's soccer team. High school seniors Ethan Schatz, Bristyn Watts and Isaac Whitenight have all signed on to pursue their education and chase down a Penn State University Athletic Conference title next fall.
Ethan Schatz - Tri Valley High School student Ethan Schatz is a multi-sport athlete from Pitman, Pa. The senior has earned nine varsity letters participating in soccer, golf, track and field, and basketball. As a midfielder and striker, Schatz scored 15 goals his senior year and was named a first team all-star in the PIAA's District VI. The senior plans to study security and risk analysis upon his entry into college.
Bristyn Watts - Berwick area native Bristyn Watts is a midfielder and attacking forward graduating from Berwick Area High School. The senior earned two varsity letters for soccer and in his senior campaign, scored six goals while toting five assists for the Bulldogs. A member of both the honor roll and distinguished honor in high school, the Watts plans to major in civil engineering at Penn State in the fall.
Isaac Whitenight - Benton Area High School senior Isaac Whitenight played midfield for the 15-5-1 Benton Tigers last fall, making it to the District IV semi-finals. The senior lettered six times for soccer, baseball, and track in high school and plays soccer in the off season for the Benton and Muncy Football Clubs. Whitenight plans to major in alternative energy engineering when he starts his Penn State career.
