Chris Neyhard signs for the 2021 baseball season

Hazleton, Pa. – Chris Neyhard of Bloomsburg, Pa. is all set to join the Hazleton Nittany Lion baseball program for the 2020-21 season. Neyhard was a four-year member of the Ram baseball squad at the Columbia Montour Area Vocational-Technical School. With the rams, Neyhard pitched for the squad and patrolled the outfield, being named a co-captain of the team as a senior in 2020 prior to the statewide shutdown of athletics by the PIAA. Chris also plays for the Baseball Factory Showcase team and has participated in many of their tournament games in Florida and South Carolina.

Neyhard is looking forward to playing at the next level for the Nittany Lions, setting his sights on improving his game and propelling the team to a PSUAC Championship run. His decision to attend Penn State Hazleton was driven by his desire to get a world-class education and his enthusiasm to continue playing the game he's loved for his entire life.
