PSUAC Golfer of the week: Brandon Haydt

HAZLETON, Pa. - Brandon Haydt (Hobbie, Pa.) was named Penn State University Athletic Conference Golfer of the week on Tuesday for his performance in the PSUAC Regional Tournament at Valley Country Club on Monday, September 28. Haydt fired a field-leading 79 to help Hazleton capture 3rd place in the event. The senior general engineering major birdied three holes on the day and survived a pair of triple bogeys to finish with a score of eight over par. For the season, Haydt's scores have improved in each of the four events the senior has participated in, lowering his season scoring average to 85 strokes per round.
