Brandon Yocum named PSUAC and USCAA National Player of the Week
Hazleton, Pa. - Freshman goalkeeper, Brandon Yocum (Bloomsburg, Pa.) has been named national keeper of the week by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and the Penn State University Athletic Conference. Last week Yocum helped lead the Lions to a pair of shut-out wins over Penn State Wilkes-Barre and Penn State Schuylkill. The freshman keeper made four saves in the pair of contests including a late penalty kick attempt in the 4-0 win over Schuylkill.
For the year, Yocum sports a .836 save percentage and four shut-out wins, both top marks in the PSUAC. In addition, Yocum has saved four penalty kick attempts, while his 56 saves and 1.28 goals allowed per game are second best in the PSUAC.
