Hazleton welcomes Dyllan Klinger to the 2021-22 soccer squad
Hazleton, Pa. - Penn State Hazleton is proud to announce Dyllan Klinger of Orangeville, Pa. as the new member of the men's soccer program. Klinger was a multi-sport athlete at Millville Area High School where he played soccer, basketball and baseball. In addition to his high school career, Klinger also played soccer at the club level for the Central Susquehanna Soccer Club and spent two years with North Union United out of Lewisburg, Pa.
"I've been a Penn State sports fan since I was young," Kilinger remarked. "I have always said that one day I would love to be able to play soccer and basketball at one of the campuses. I want to continue to be successful at the next level and continue to learn and grow while having a positive impact at the school and with the athletic program."
Klinger played four seasons at Millville Area High School as a striker and attacking midfielder. He was a three-time District Champion with the soccer program from 2018-2020 and part of the Quakers 2018 PIAA State Championship team in soccer. Klinger notched 12 goals and four assists during his senior season and was named a All-Star by the Press Enterprise news outlet in Columbia County. He finished his career with a total of 18 scores, seven assists and 50 shots on goal.
A distinguished honor roll student at Millville Area High School, Klinger looks to continue his education with the same devotion and commitment that he applies to his athletics.
