Hazleton, Pa. - Senior Stephanie Guevara (New Brunswick, Nj.) was named player of the week after a 2-1 stretch for the Lady Lions. Guevara average 16.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game, notching a total of 15 steals and 15 assist over the week where Hazleton faced Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Penn State DuBois and Wilkes University.

For the season, the senior is averaging 12.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game and leads the Penn State University Athletic Conference with 78 steals on the year. In the senior's most recent game, Guevara scored 15 points in a win over Worthington Scranton and now sits on a career total of 999 points. 

Guevara and the Lady Lions will next take the court on Friday at 6:00 p.m. against Penn State Brandywine. Guevara will look to eclipse the career milestone on her home court and keep the Lady Lions PSUAC win streak rolling throughout the weekend.
