Bio

Mandy Reinhart joined the Hazleton Women's Basketball staff in the fall of 2021 as the assistant coach. Reinhart is a 2002 graduate of Pine Grove High School where she won three District II titles for the Cardinals. Reinhart set a career high with 10 three-pointers in one game and went on to score over 1,000 points at Pine Grove.

She continued her basketball career at Alvernia University where Mandy was a four-year starter and holds the school record for games played, competing in 113 contests. She helped the Golden Wolves to a pair of conference championships and was a first-team all-conference award winner in 2006. She set a number of high marks during her career at Alvernia, finishing her time there as a 1,000 point scorer, ranking 1st in career three-point percentage (41%) and free throw percentage (81%), fourth in assists (301) and fifth in three-point field goals made (148). 

Shortly after graduating, Reinhart began coaching as an assistant at Alvernia and held that post for three seasons from 2008-2011. Now with the Nittany Lions, Reinhart is giving back to the game by sharing her expertise with the new generation of players, with a focus on helping students grow academically and maximizing their potential on the basketball court.
