Fetterman earns national honors
Norfolk, Va. - Junior Breann Fetterman (Mountain Top, Pa.) earned national recognition on Tuesday as the United States Collegiate Athletic Association's national player of the week in division II women's soccer. In two stellar efforts last week, Fetterman was responsible for nine of Hazleton's 14 tallies. The junior netted a pair of goals and four assists in Hazleton's 9-0 win over Penn State Schuylkill and followed that effort up with a three assist day on Monday as Hazleton topped Penn State Beaver 5-0.
In addition to the USCAA honors, the junior earned a nod from the Penn State University Athletic Conference. Fetterman ranks second in total points in the PSUAC with a mark of 17 and now sits atop the assist category with nine dimes on the season.
